The Sandy Pars Golf Podcast #3: Improve Your Golf Scores by Tracking Stats

This week, we tear into the stats of a recent round we played together.  We try to find out the key differences between a round of 77 and round of 92.  The differences turn out to be quite surprising (for Ryan at least).

We also talk about how the strategy of taking the ego out golf worked out.  What happens if you lay up, but you don’t leave yourself the correct club into the green?

Next, we look forward to our next round and what we plan to improve on.  Ryan needs to get better at hitting greens in regulation and putting.  Randy needs to improve his focus coming down the stretch and stop scorecard watching.

Finally, we look forward to the upcoming Genesis Open at the Riviera Country Club.  We both pick players we’ll be watching this weekend.
